Giants

This will be a great year for the New York Giants.

They have a very good football team. Jerry Reese is a Master of the Universe in football logistics. I am very glad the Giants have them on their team. I can't say enough about what he has done since taking over for Ernie Acorsi.

Defense wins Championships. The Giants added some quality players this free agency. LB Boley, DE/DT Canty, DT Bernard and S Brown. With Osi returning this year too and Tuck on the other side. It is a complete and utter nightmare for opposing offenses. What about the backfield? Aaron Ross is a very good player. Webster just signed a nice contract. Kenny Phillips is going to be a force. Michael Johnson is showing some toughness. Where do you go offensively against the G-men? Losing Coach Spags was devastating to every true Giants fan. Hopefully, we can continue the aggressive attack style we had with him the past 2 seasons.

Offensive production. Eli Manning is really getting good at this QB thing. Brandon "The Bull" Jacobs was worth franchising. Bradshaw will be fun to watch grow. Boss came on strong in the second half of last season. We have arguably the best offensive line in football. I'm curious to see what Danny Ware can do. We got TE Vickers in free agency. The only area with blaring need is the WR position. Plaxico Burress might go to jail. Amani Toomer is leaving (Much respect Toomer, thanks for everything you've done for us Superbowl Champion). That leaves the G-men with 3rd string WR's, with Steve Smith and Hixon as the only possible #2 WR's. Rucker is in development. Word on Manningham is quiet. Sinorice Moss hasn't worked out. So WR will be the main area of concern for the Giants. Something they are sure to address in the upcoming NFL Draft and probably through a trade for a veteran WR. If they were to get WR Calvin Johnson, 6'5" 239 pds 24 years old, they could win 2 more Super Bowls in the next 6 years in my opinion.

GO GIANTS!!
